Las Damas de Arte (LDDA) will present Sunday In The Arts- 2011, an annual exhibition and fund-raiser, on April 17, 2011 from 5pm to 9pm at Tampa Preparatory School’s the “SMITH BLACK BOX THEATRE,” Tampa, Florida.

Open to the public, Sunday in the Arts is a juried show, featuring more than 50 acclaimed Tampa Bay Area women artists. All artwork is for sale and it includes paintings, drawings, ceramics, photography, sculpture, fiber, jewelry and mixed media. Artists’ awards will be in the form of ribbons which will be Best of Show, Ist, 2nd, 3rd, and 3 Honorable Mentions. There will be a raffle for the popular “Wall of Wine,” a variety of more than 50 bottles to be won by one person as well as a Silent Auction. Entertainment will be provided by the jazz group of the Lyle Manwaring Trio. Also, the “The Mimes” will delight guests as they arrive at which time delectables and beverages will be served throughout the evening.
Las Damas de Arte raises money to fund scholarships for students at the University of Tampa, University of South Florida, Hillsborough Community College, local high schools and non-profit organizations with art needs. Sunday in the Arts, through sponsorship and admission sales, is the main source of the group’s contribution to the Tampa Bay art scene. Generous individual and business support is critical to the success of this event.
GENERAL ADMISSION IS $40 IN ADVANCE; $50 AT THE DOOR, $75 PATRONS, STUDENTS (WITH I.D.) $15 AND SPONSORSHIPS START AT $250 AND ABOVE. (VISA/MC ACCEPTED)
